Ninja is in a pretty balanced state imo. And anyway wall sticks are probably not small changes to ninja corner stuff

Replays from older versions are always broken bc of changes to the moves themselves. That's why it desyncs and let's u "play" when it reaches the end of the list of moves of that match (the replays are just the set of moves used and the order, not a video)

it's very likely that it's just DI affecting it, not a bug 

You have to record the screen with an external program like OBS or Windows Game Bar

You're right in that ninja doesn't have range in his attacks. However, he has many ways to close the gap. Just to name a few: quick slash, air dashes, substitute...

there are infinite TODs if u just disable DI lmao. Just explain briefly what it is, it's not that complex of a concept

Confusing touch is just a forced flip of direction to your opponent. Think of it like Mario's cape in Smash 

You can escape 1 combo almost guaranteed with burst (unless u get read hard).

Also DI is not a slight change in speed/direction, good DI drastically changes combo routes to the point that u can force them to drop the combo early and frametrap/setup instead bc they can't follow it up.


If you just leave the match the moment u get hit u'll never learn how to escape combos (which is a mindgame by itself).

Just a side note: after a whiff cancel you're forced to do an attack (anything with a hitbox), u can't just move or block/dodge. Free cancel doesn't have this restriction.

In my own (and limited) experience, whiff cancel gets fucking destroyed by frame traps. Keep in mind a VERY important aspect of whiff canceling: they can only do something that has a hitbox so if u use a move out that'd hit them relatively fast they just wasted the burst to get counterhit instead XD.

Also if u suspect there might be a whiff cancel incoming bc u outspaced them or something like that u can use a free cancel on the punish move. If they dont whiff cancel u get the free cancel back since u did hit them and it wasnt a combo. If they do whiff cancel u get to adjust accordingly (they must throw out a move) and either parry, use an invincible move with Iniciative or just change your position so they whiff again and then cash out.

But again this is from my limited experience so i might be wrong lol

A reason to run away?

Replays are not a video, they're the sequence of inputs each player does and they get done each time u watch a replay. So far the only way to get a video out of them is by recording the game with external software (like OBS).

it's already in. when u create a match, after the opponent joins there are a lot of options for the match (such as stage length, gravity on/off, di on/off,...). Two of those options are "chess timer", and "match time" or something similar. What chess timer does is take the match time in seconds instead of minutes. By default it's on and with 30s for each player (but u get an extra 4 secs each turn)

overused != overpowered

1. Don't worry about your internet speed. The game is turn based so it mostly doesn't matter.

2. Tutorials would be great but idk how I'd do them, the game is pretty self explanatory already (what I would like is too be able to see the frame data in-game). 

3. Cowboy's tp has already been nerfed multiple times and I think it's already in a pretty good state since tp length makes it slower (and therefore, easier to punish or at least get an advantage).

Wouldn't this be kind of redundant with burst? Both are combo breakers and they both require the attacker and defender to guess what the other might do.

That'd explain why replays break between versions and also would make the "edit replay" feature easier to implement so it's a quite clever way to save them.

The style of the new name reminds me of Fights In Tight Spaces (FITS). Which is a good thing! I love that kind of names

Every "easy" character is considered top tier for a while after a game's release. But they typically drop after everyone learns how to play the game.

Take Ike in smash ultimate for example, he was considered top tier for roughly half a year but now he's barely high tier (still a decent placement). He didn't even receive any nerfs but as ppl learnt the game it was getting easier to deal with him.

Yes you can, stop insisting and actually try. You probably got hit by something else before or just misstimed it (u need to input block just a bit before it activates)

u can actually do that (except rewind and fast forward), but u have to go to the options menu and toggle "show playback controls" . U can also go frame by frame if u want

Unless there's some setup by the ninja (caltrops or clone), palm strike leave u neutral so they can't just grab after it XD 

10k hp, i dont think each class has different hp (but maybe different defense/guts modifiers)

usually terminals don't show how many characters you've written as password. It's still writing it tho
